Grade II listed house, C16th with C20th alterations. Two stroeys, timber framed with frame exposed at the front with C20th brick nogging. Axial chimneys of red brick. Probably originally a three cell house;the right hand service cell now demolished, the parlour and most of hall surviving. An original unglazed diamond mullion window in the parlour end gable. Listing details from Historic England. 

In 1841 the property was occupied by Thomas Crack aged 60, farmer and his wife Susan aged 45. Also in the property was 34 year Susan Crack . It is not clear from the census how she relates to Thomas but she could have been a daughter from an earlier marriage. Thomas and Susuan had four children aged from 6 to 16.
